We would like to thank everyone for supporting The Solace Tree—your tremendous compassion and generosity has ensured the success of our grief support programs over the years. At this time, we are seeing a decline in families that are able to pay for our much needed services. Without turning anyone away, we still need funding to provide programs for children, teens and adults who seek grief support.
In an effort to maintain funding, we have launched a crowd funding initiative through The Giving Trail to raise $3,000 for The Good Grief Program. In this program, children and teens can benefit from learning how to self-manage more effectively in the areas of self-esteem, stress management and social skills development. Topics may include: Living in a single parent home, living with someone who is an alcoholic or drug user, living with abuse, having an incarcerated parent, dealing with bullies in school and much more.
If you’re inclined, we’d appreciate any monetary donation for this program. Even as much as sharing this article and/or the link to The Giving Trail website with friends, family and through social media channels is very much appreciated.
